Writing For Wellness

  • Holdspace Risinghill Street London, England, N1 9SY United Kingdom (map)

Ever thought of trying journaling but not quite sure where to start?

Opened a notebook, seen the blank page staring back and then closed it again?

Seen someone writing away in a café and wanted to have a go?

This workshop will introduce you to journaling as a wellness practice, firstly getting you writing, the words flowing on the page, and then giving you specific journal prompts to explore feelings, to reflect on situations, and to set future intentions. It will include both short exercises to get you writing and exploring and also longer writes to delve a little deeper.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners who have never journaled before, but may also be of interest to those with a journaling practice who would like to explore journaling in a more structured/dedicated environment.

What do I need to bring?

  • A journal. There are two approaches here if you’re buying one for the first time. The first is to choose one that sparks joy when you touch it, that you will love and want to write in. The other approach is that if the first option might lead you to feel that what you write has to be perfect in your lovely new journal, get something cheap and functional that you don’t feel any attachment to.

  • Ideally wear comfy clothing, maybe a favourite jumper

  • Your favourite tea (we will also have tea available)

Early Bird Tickets are £20 and General Admission is £25. Click the button below to book.
