What are The Connection Sessions?
The Connection Sessions are a monthly event on the first Monday of every month, grown from a vision I had to create an experience with greater richness than can be offered in a normal yoga class, and that provides space for you to check in with where you're at on a regular basis.
Held in the beautiful and intimate Holdspace in Angel, it's an evening to come together in a small group, to connect inwards as well as with the community in the room. It's something of a retreat-vibe in an evening in London, working with a theme as a guide for our explorations. The evenings are an opportunity to take a moment to pause at the start of the month, reflecting on what's gone and setting intentions for the month to come. They're an opportunity to check in with where you're at and ask what you need. And also, importantly, they're an opportunity to come together in community with others.
Sessions vary according to energy at the time, but will likely involve meditation, journalling, a sharing circle (option to share or just listen) as well as embodied movement.
A chance to take stock at the end of the first quarter of 2019, and just after the spring equinox as we enter this new season. Review where you are in terms of intentions for the year and explore the qualities of spring, setting intentions for both April and the spring season. We are very luck to be joined by regular sessioner Briony who has recently started offering signing bowl sound healings and will be closing this special session to mark the transition from winter to spring.

ABOUT NATALIE OWEN
The workshop is led by Natalie, a yoga teacher and coach-in-the-making who has long used writing as a way of making sense of life and staying sane.
Natalie teaches from an embodied perspective, with strong interests in self-development, a background in psychology, and experience using these practices for dealing with life changes, emotional and mental health challenges, both in her own life and when working with others. She teaches in East London, runs regular events in London and South Wales (where she's from) and also works 1-2-1 with clients looking to utilise yoga and the wider wellness practices in every day life.
